Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for ScaleVertex website projects and managed service payments. We have tried to keep it clear and fair for both sides.

This page is provided for general business clarity and should not be considered legal advice.

1.Introduction

This Refund Policy describes the refund rules for payments made to ScaleVertex for website design, development, and managed services. It is meant to set clear, fair expectations from the start.

2.Custom service nature

Website work is custom digital service work. Once we begin planning and building, real time and effort go into your project. Because of this, refunds depend on the stage of work that has already been completed.

3.Before work starts

If you have made a payment but we have not started work yet, you can request a refund. Any payment gateway or administrative charges, if applicable, may be deducted from the refunded amount.

4.After work starts

Once planning, design, development, content work, or setup has begun, refunds may be partial or may not be available, depending on how much work has already been completed at that point.

5.After delivery or launch

Refunds are generally not available after the website has been finally delivered, approved, or launched, as the agreed work has been completed.

6.Third-party costs

Some costs are paid to outside providers and are usually non-refundable, such as:

  • Domain names
  • Hosting
  • Premium tools or plugins
  • Payment gateway charges
  • Stock photos or other paid assets
  • Other third-party services

7.Managed Hosting & Security

Monthly Managed Hosting & Security plans are generally billed for the active service period. You can cancel at any time to stop future billing, but service periods that have already been used may not be refundable.

8.Revision and issue handling

If there is a genuine issue with the work we agreed on, we will first try to fix it according to the agreed scope before a refund is considered. In most cases, a quick conversation helps us put things right.

9.How to request a refund

To request a refund, email us at hello@scalevertex.com with the following details:

  • Your name
  • Business name
  • Project details
  • Payment details
  • Reason for the refund request

This helps us review your request quickly and fairly.

10.Final decision

Refund decisions depend on the stage of the project, the work already completed, any third-party costs, and the scope we agreed on. We always aim to be fair and reasonable when reviewing each request.
